I have  always had a desire to heal, and from a very young age I found myself wanting to assist people in their journey toward good health.  I began joining my mother in visits to a nursing home where I would offer massage to wheel-chair bound elderly and found a calling in providing renewed health to people in need.  This led to an NA course and a career at St. Josephs Hospital for six years.  From there I became a Surgical Technician, a career which I enjoyed for 22 years while raising my family of two beautiful now grown children.

My interest expanded in Eastern Medicine as I was exposed to more alternative therapies.  I made the transition to preventative wellness when I had the opportunity to train with a Japanese man, Dr. Shogo Mochizucki, a 7th generation family practitioner and one of Japan's leading educators.  He had been taught by his family from the time he was four years old, and shared his gifts with me as I learned his techniques on acupressure, Kobido facials and facelifts, gem stone shiatsu, reflexology, essential oil chemistry, and more.  I traveled from San Francisco to Boulder, CO and hopefully one day to Japan, as he no longer trains outside of his native country.  I have been a licensed aesthetician for over 10 years now and finally feel that I am living my passion by sharing my gifts for healing.

Kobido is not only a form of massage but is a traditional art and ancient wisdom.  It is one of the most powerful treatments available and is what makes a "Marilyn treatment" different from a standard spa massage.  The Kobido art is very deep and extensive art form to study, taking years to master.  I combine these techniques with raindrop therapy application of the finest essential oils to create the experience my clients have come to love.  I look forward to sharing these gifts with you.
